What is an IMEI? I didn't know either. My task on this project was to help customers intuitively locate the IMEI number on their cell phone.
I was assigned to come up with a conversational way to introduce the new Advanced Messaging product.
While working at Trendwest Resorts I was tasked with redoing the entire Worldmark web site. Working across teams, I was able to deliver a clean, dynamic web presence. This same basic design is still in use today.
Part of the Worldmark website redesign was coming up with a way to present an incredible amount of information about individual resorts in a way that was easy to read and navigate. Hit this one out of the park. It's still in use today.
While at Speakeasy, I wrote one sheets, fact sheets, brochures, and web copy.
Microsoft adCenter had a problem. The portal page was a confusing mess. Working across teams I came up with a way to get customers where they needed to go, while making sure that all teams were represented.
My first career writing job was an enviable one: I was told to surf the web and write about it. My weekly article went from 45k subscribers to 80k before Sprynet was bought by CompuServe. Then my audience jumped to 3 million.
